Sea-Doo RXP-X 260 Stage 4+ Flowrider — 83+ MPH on Water
A 2012 RXP-X 260 progressively developed over three years: full engine metrology, forged engine, Engine Tech supercharger, RIVA camshaft, Bosch VT1100 injectors, power intercooler and Stage 4 tune at 8,900 RPM.
Results tested on water. Performance may vary depending on heat, water conditions, fuel, load, maintenance and final configuration.
Not just a tune. A real Flowrider build.
This RXP-X 260 wasn’t transformed all at once. Flowrider developed it over three years at the client’s request, adding parts at the right time. First the intake, exhaust and pump. Then fuel and cooling. Then boost, engine base, valve train and final calibration.
This approach builds performance without skipping steps. A Stage 4+ can be the end goal without being the starting point. Flowrider can develop a Sea-Doo progressively, based on budget, usage and desired performance level.
→ A big setup isn’t just more boost. It’s everything working around it.
Performance tested on water
On the water, this RXP-X runs at 8,900 RPM, with approximately 15 PSI of boost and a tuned AFR. Top speed sits at 83+ MPH / 135+ km/h, depending on conditions.
The real character of the build is felt most at throttle reapplication. At 20 km/h or 60 km/h, the thrust comes immediately and keeps pulling. The 0–100 km/h is done in under 3.5 seconds based on testing.

The scope of the setup: every system was addressed
A true Stage 4+ doesn’t rely on a single part. Flowrider worked the entire Sea-Doo so that power is properly fed, cooled, transferred and controlled.
Intake
Power Filter RIVA · Intake Manifold Upgrade · Vent 2.5
Help the engine breathe freely at high RPM.
Boost
Supercharger Engine Tech · 15 PSI · RIVA Camshaft · Tial Blow Off Valve
Create the pressure, response and character of the build.
Fuel & AFR
Bosch VT1100 · Fuel Pressure Regulator · AFR Kit · Sensor Mount
Feed the engine properly and keep the air/fuel mix under control.
Cooling
Power Intercooler · Tubing Upgrade · Thermostat Kit
Better manage temperatures when the machine is under heavy load.
Engine & Reliability
Full Metrology · Forged Engine · Valve Train Super Tech · APR Stud Kit · Catch Can
Validate tolerances and reinforce the base to handle boost, RPM and load.
Exhaust & Sound
Water Box RIVA · Rear Exhaust Outlet Kit
Free up the exhaust and give the Sea-Doo a more pronounced sound presence.
Pump
Solas Concord R Series Impeller 15/19R
Transfer power to the water for acceleration, throttle response and top speed.
Reliability is part of the setup, not just talk.
The injectors, fuel regulator, AFR, intercooler, thermostat and catch can are also part of the work. A high-performance build remains more demanding than a stock machine: proper fuel, regular inspections and closer maintenance intervals are essential.
At Flowrider, a big setup needs to be fast, but above all well-built and reliable.
The sound, the thrust, the response: everything changes.
The result is a Sea-Doo that’s more reactive, louder and much more mechanically engaged, while still built around a reinforced base and controlled calibration.
Your Sea-Doo can evolve too.
Whether the goal is more acceleration, more top speed, more sound or a complete build, Flowrider can create a plan tailored to the watercraft, budget and intended use. The project can be done progressively. Flowrider can start with a simpler first step, then evolve the setup in the right order: performance, support parts, engine base, calibration and maintenance.
